As our state moves into assembly polls on April 13, 2011; Chief Minister V.S. Achutanandan, leading LDF leader spoke to a huge audience at Calicut beach. As part of election campaign, he visited Kozhikode on the same day when Smt.Sonia Gandhi landed to campaign for Congress. In spite of the traffic limitations and security concerns, V.S. pulled a massive crowd.

ELECTIONS TO STATE ASSEMBLY- CALICUT NORTH CONSTITUENCY
My constituency is Calicut North and its going into polls for the general assembly elections on 13th of April, 2011. An M.L.A who has put in dedicated efforts, documented all the development initiatives and put forth even an independant package for better education has drawn my admiration during the past few years.
Calicut has witnessed contributions from many eminent District Collectors in its path towards development. But, for me this was a unique experience when a gentle MLA joined hands with another gentle Collector, Dr.P.B.Salim; for the betterment of mankind in all possible endeavours.
Managing this constituency without any controversy and achieving accolodaes in a dynamic manner is a wonderful task, well accomplished.
This is indeed a model worth replication by all elected office bearers to prove their mettle.
As rightly pointed out by famous writer, Shri.M.T.Vasudevan Nair; A.Pradeep kumar has left a legacy for his followers to emulate...
